Visited in a Saturday later afternoon/early evening. We were able to walk right in and be seated immediately. We had calamari and a few sushi rolls. All was so fresh and tasty. Service was friendly.

Absolutely loved the chicken katsu! I love chicken katsu and this was definitely the best I've had. Chicken was perfectly tender and panko was crisp, katsu sauce really stole the show though as it was so good! Staff were friendly and prompt even though there was a crowd, no delays on anything and felt welcome even as a party of one. Also really liked the atmosphere and the beautiful mural behind the sushi prep.

We ordered the Spicy Juan and vegan rainbow and we really enjoyed both. It was art on a plate. The music was great and service was top notch. They have created a great atmosphere and I definitely recommend visiting when you're in San Diego.

One of the best desserts I'd ever had!! Vanilla ice cream with tempura strawberries omg it's delicious has like 7 other toppings underneath the ice cream ! super recommended and the sushi super fresh,exceeded my expectations! Culichi roll is one of my favs.
